A Reunion for the Ages

Helen and Bob have a very long history, which makes this union all the more special. Back when they were in high school and throughout their early 20s, they were best friends. 43 years later, they’ve come back into each other’s lives and are making sure it stays that way. The beauty of this magical reunion is on full display in this joyous wedding. Outside the venue is a large sign proclaiming “Bliss”, and that’s exactly what we found here.

The bride and groom prepared in their respective spaces prior to the ceremony, each having a great time and laughing with friends nearby. It is always so beautiful to see these smaller, often unrecognized moments in which those closest to the couple can share special moments of joy and happiness. After a simple, but sweet, first look moment, it was time for this couple to take an extraordinary new step in their long journey.

Soft pink roses and plenty of greenery adorned the venue space as everyone gathered to witness this incredible moment. The excitement and joy was clear on Helen and Bob’s face as they completed the ceremony and walked down the aisle as newlyweds. At this point, it was time to party! Friends and family gathered for a delicious meal and a great time celebrating these two special people. Helen’s advice to those planning a wedding is simple, but important: have fun!
