SECOND TIME AROUND

Joaquin and Gary had crossed paths before, yet, despite intense chemistry, their lives led them to different places. Neither of them expected it when they encountered each other again, but it became clear that the spark between them was as alive and vibrant as ever. They couldn’t ignore the signs, and embarked on a relationship together.

After getting dressed and ready on the big day, Joaquin and Gary kicked things off with some pre-wedding photos at South Congress Hotel. The Hotel almost welcomes their elegance and charm, making them look effortleslly at home as they share quiet, intimate moments together. Sweet glances and grateful embraces highlight their love and connection as they prepare to embark on this journey.

A SPACE FOR SWEET LOVE

After that, the pair make their way to the church, a beautiful, bright, and airy space. Outside of the church, an elegant display of candles, flowers, and an etched mirror advertise the ceremony about to take place inside, while above the door, the words “Faith Hope Love” are proudly visible. More flowers and candles decorate the bright and joyful space as Joaquin and Gary commit themselves to each other. The church is lovely and vibrant, and such affirming love looks right at home there.

A WINNING COMBINATION

Back at South Congress Hotel, it’s everyone’s favorite part of the wedding day! The atmosphere is joyous and energetic as four drag queens tear up the dance floor and get things moving. Some well-placed glitz and glam livens up the features of the Hotel (disco balls and a dance floor!). On tap are some signature cocktails themed around their cats, Theo and Gracie, to bring some personal elements into the mix.

Their cake feels like a perfect visual encapsulation of their wedding day: elegant and timeless with bright spots of colorful energy and joy. The way Joaquin watches Gary speak at the reception, the care and tenderness with which they interact, are all a testament to their love. The wedding day is characterized by many moments of sweet love and energetic celebration.
