It is undeniable that Austin has many great views to offer, so who wouldn’t want to have their engagement photos taken here? Unique architecture, stunning skylines and vistas, and plenty of that local Austin charm provide numerous options and opportunities for great photos. Kayla and Daniel were looking for urban and industrial city vibes for their engagement shoot, and we were happy to take that journey with them.

The Couple Who Laughs Together

An engagement is such a special period of time in an ongoing relationship, and we love capturing it on camera. Kayla and Daniel’s shoot started in their home and showcased their carefree and fun-loving nature when together. It was important for them to share this moment with their adorable pup, so of course he crashed the session! Having their beloved dog in attendance gave us the opportunity to see how their shared love creates a warm and comfortable environment within their home.

An Enduring and Ongoing Love Story

We also learned about some of the couples’ favorite things to experience together such as cocktail bars, great restaurants, and concerts. In fact, their shared love of music is evident in their home with their collection of records on display. After that, it was time to hit the city and explore. Kayla and Dan love laughing and having fun together, which means that they’re always having a good time! No matter what it is they find themselves doing, the important part is that they’re together, a fact that is evident as they explored the city for this session.

Right There All Along

They were introduced by Kayla’s childhood friend a.k.a. Daniel’s sister! Ever since, their relationship has grown and flourished as they’ve begun planning their life together. They got engaged back in February 2023, and decided it was important to capture this “being engaged” part of their life. Neither of them love getting in front of the camera, but they felt they should remember this time together before they get married and take the next steps of their journey.
