Who says your wedding has to be a one day event that you move on from and go about your life? That was the question Tiffany and Harrison asked themselves before choosing to celebrate over the course of a few weeks. They decided not to worry about traditional options and ceremonies and instead focused on creating a unique wedding experience that was authentic to who they were as a couple and included the people who matter. Read on, and experience a different way to tie the knot.

A Ceremony Among the Stones

It all started on November 10th at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden where Tiffany and Harrison gathered with their immediate family to enjoy a micro-wedding experience. Not wanting a large, traditional-style event, this was the perfect way for the couple to get married in a unique and intimate setting. The pair wrote the script for the ceremony themselves, and the event was photographed by Amber Vickery, a local Austin photographer.

This magical little gathering was an intimate and memorable way to get married, but there was more excitement yet to come in this wedding story.

Unique and Memorable Party Vibes

With the more formal event out of the way, it was time for the party! Tiffany and Harrison chose Justine’s Secret House as the ultimate party spot to celebrate with all of their friends. After sipping champagne in the courtyard, everyone moved inside for a cocktail hour and then a buffet-style dinner. For a little extra spark of the unique, the couple hired a local painter to do live guest paintings–which the guests loved! Between the Victorian interiors of Justine’s, the delicious food, and the music to dance and party too, the house party vibes were immaculate at this celebration.

This party was also an opportunity for the couple to include some personal touches to make this celebration unique to them. While in the courtyard, guests enjoyed the soundtracks of Tiffany and Harrison’s favorite films such as Breathless, Blade Runner, and Phantom Thread. Inside, the vinyl DJs spun up a collection of songs with an emphasis on French pop, classic romance songs, and ’60s and ’70s soul and disco. To top it all off, Harrison rocked a blue velvet suit and bowtie while Tiffany wore a custom-made dress from Reev Bridal before changing to a short sequin number to really party it up.

This couple have proven that a wedding can be just about anything you want it to be. From a close, intimate ceremony in a sculpture garden to a thrilling house party, anything is possible. Now that you have seen there’s a different way, how will you create a unique wedding experience?
